Hannah's Visit

Over the summer, I was lucky enough that Hannah wanted to come over and help Kev and I on the house. She even brought lunch with her!

She and I decided to tackle the butler's pantry. This little room off the kitchen was full of cabinets and shelves on the wall, which we wanted to get rid of.

Those would be gun shells on the old butcher block countertops.

Hannah and I found a variety of items in the cabinets, behind them and between the shelves.

 A new lizard mascot.

We found quite a few old egg shells. Gross!

Demo time for Hannah!

Taking all the debris from the pantry to the dump.

Eventually Kev and I hope to turn the room into a half bath since the only bathroom in the house is on the second floor. For now we will be using it for storing kitchen items.

A lot of wallpaper paste was left on the walls and they weren't in the best shape, so we decided to cover them with quarter inch sheet drywall. Kevin also skimmed the ceiling.

When we get closer to moving in, we will put cork flooring down in this room as well as the kitchen.
