You Know You Own a Condemned House When...

Our Condemned House

1. Your summer house has become your fall house and then your winter house.

2. You have to bathe with a respirator.

3. You have pushed back appliance delivery dates 45+ times. Hopefully we have pushed back the delivery of the fridge and stove for the last time and they will be here in January February.

4. It feels weird to be in a finished house. Who lives like that???

5. You have everything you need at the house for a great Halloween costume (minus fake blood). Kevin went as a man with a new table saw.

6. You cringe at the people on Renovation Realities when they do something stupid like cut a live wire with pliers, take down a low bearing wall or think that they can fully renovate a kitchen in one week. 

7. The people at Home Depot, Menards, WLSSD Materials Recover Center and Acme Tools recognize you.

8. You are visiting family and end up installing new light fixtures and patching drywall. The last couple of days in Georgia, Kevin installed recess and pendent lights in his parents kitchen and we painted the ceiling. It turned out really well :)

Oh and Kev also found time to do some plumbing in the upstairs bathroom.

All done, just letting the drywall mud dry then it is paint time!

9. All your pants have the same whole in the back pocket because that is where you keep your flashlight. 

10. You do not update your blog in over five months! Don't worry I have still been taking pictures along the way and will be updating the blog more frequently (I hope).
